The Software Commission focuses on the protection of software and computer-implemented inventions, providing expert analysis on evolving European case law, and clarifying how software-related innovations can meet legal requirements.

Our work also addresses the impact of artificial intelligence on inventorship, ownership, and IP protection, ensuring that IP frameworks adapt to technological progress.

A distinctive part of our mission is contributing to the interpretation of European patent law by commenting on major EPO decisions, including G decisions, and submitting amicus curiae briefs to promote clarity and harmonization.
