With a membership of UNION-IP you will become part of the UNION-IP family
Benefits
Like in the real IP world, you will start to profit from your membership already immediately after the application. You may already join the UNION-IP events, benefit from the member rates for participation and become active in commissions as well. After effective admission by the ExCo, you will be an official UNION-IP member.
Through its various Working Commissions UNION-IP keeps abreast of changes of law affecting IP Practitioners in Europe and can express the views of UNION-IP to relevant governmental bodies when they are framing changes in law or considering introducing new laws.
Members are welcome to forward their views to the relevant Commissions. Commissions are also regularly looking for new members to join them and take a more active role, so if you are interested in an area, please contact the Commission President.

Application for UNION-IP membership
To become regular member of UNION-IP, you will have to cite two present members of UNION-IP as referees. They will not only act as confirming people but will help and assist you in becoming familiar with the structure and commitment within UNION-IP.
With the application you give your consent to pay the membership fees (presently € 130.- for regular members and € 50.- for trainee members; an additional amount may be due for the national group).
Your application will be processed by the membership commission of UNION-IP that will propose your application to be confirmed by the next ExCo after your application date.
To start the membership application process, you only must complete the membership application form below and you will immediately receive confirmation. Please refer to the country delegate of your country of work, to the membership commission or to the bureau in case you have additional questions. We would be very happy to welcome you as a new member of UNION-IP!
